Life Learning Academy is proud to have received the 2010 Hart Vision Charter School of the Year Award from the California Charter Schools Association.

The Hart-Vision Awards, established by the California Charter Schools Association predecessor, CANEC, in 1995, are named in honor of Gary K. Hart, retired California State Senator and former California Secretary of Education who sponsored the legislation that established California charter schools.

The Hart Vision Awards recognize and honor schools or individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and excellence, model best practices, and impact educational issues and policies.
